This role focuses on hardware/software integration across a wide range of precision instrumentation and electro-optical subsystems, including beam modulation, optical actuation and scanning, precision motion and positioning, signal-acquisition and conditioning electronics, and embedded control hardware. You will write prototyping code, build test setups, perform calibration and characterization, and analyze performance at both component and system level.

Position Summary:

The Materials Process Technician is responsible for producing nanoporous materials by executing pre-approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a wet-chemistry lab/production environment. This role focuses on consistent, repeatable processing; careful handling of materials and reagents, and maintaining high-quality documentation to support traceability, quality control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will also support routine materials testing/characterization (per SOP), maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) best practices at all times.

Position Summary:

The Integrated Optical Packaging Engineer role leads the design, simulation, material specification and assembly process development for packaging complex, novel printed optical and electrical breadboard components within the context of integrated optical systems such as, fiber interconnects, photonic integrated circuits (PICs), optical imaging and metrology systems, and radio frequency (RF) components and subsystems such as, phased-array antenna, meta surface and devices.  This role is responsible for the entire packaging lifecycle, from conceptual design to high-volume manufacturing, focusing on cost-effective, reliable, thermally and environmentally stable, precisely aligned solutions developed by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and experienced outsourced partners.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at the intersection of optics, electronics, precision mechanics, and nanofabrication.  The position is primarily on-site, with the potential for part-time remote work.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop high-performance, hardware-adjacent software for advanced fabrication and optical instrumentation platforms. This is a primarily on-site role, focused on Linux-based systems development, high-throughput data handling, and software that interfaces directly with custom electronics, FPGA-backed subsystems, and precision instrumentation. An initial major project involves building a synchronized, high-bandwidth pattern streaming and data acquisition subsystem for a next-generation tool.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Test Technician within the Metrology Team to support our R&D fabrication line. This position will play a key role in running verification testing on optical components, materials and devices and will work closely with the fabrication, optical design, and materials development teams. This is an in-person position located at our office in Waltham, MA. First or second shift schedule may be possible, if preferred.
